Kuwait is too sunny.

20Aug06

I want to wake up to a cold and rainy morning.
I want to put on a jacket.
I want to drive to a coffee shop.
I want to order coffee.
I want to sit by the window.
I want to have a book (or laptop).

The chances of Salmiya turning into East Grand River Ave. (in mid-october) overnight are slim to none .. but a man can dream.

  1. I have a lot of dreams.. especially about turning kuwait into the Bay Area california.. dream on!

I want to go to the movies without being censored.. I want to watch the movie without commentary from all the critics in the theater, but there is a better chance of Salmiya turning into the East Grand River Ave.! hehehe

    CyberRowdy:

  14. yeah! not to mention specially….

  15. Aside from the rain, everything you said is possible here. (Even the “cold” part is here cuz it’s always freezin indoors.)

  16. Well, why reinvent the wheel, lets pinch Dubai’s “weather control” technology and make it rain.

Either that or we despatch a special envoy to africa to learn the latest rain dance – though it doesnt look like theyve mastered it themselves yet.

  17. hey you take what you can get right? :/

Our we could cover a coffee shop with a big plastic bag, turn on showers and the ac.

    ZinZinQ8:
    The atmosphere .. !
Kuwaitis are way too pissed off when hanging out at the coffee shop.

    Entrepreneur:
Weather control is last year; Dubai is a couple years away from breaking off the UAE and moving to a cooler climate.

    KrispyDixie:
At least we have tamr and liban. 🙂

  19. well u want all that…… get out of kuwait:)

  20. Ahh…Rain. I miss rain.

  21. Oh yeh K, I would love to see it rain more often. But let’s not forget the ‘winters’ here. I actually like the period from September to March in Kuwait. It can get pretty cold, and you wake up not knowing what kind of day to expect…
